What is the pass mark, and what does "Grace 2.5" mean?
You need 17.5 — that is 15 raw marks plus a grace of 2.5, out of 50. Every score in the app is measured against 17.5, not against a plain 15, so what you see in practice is what the real result uses.
Is this an official IRDAI or III app?
No. IC-38 Exam Prep is an independent study aid, built by Provident Global Services in Hyderabad. We are not affiliated with IRDAI, III, LIC or any insurance company, and we have no role in conducting the exam. All content is written against publicly available IC-38 syllabus material.
What exactly do I get for ₹499?

What does "guaranteed pass — free re-training" actually mean?
If you attend a full live training session and do not pass, you can attend again free, until you pass — there is no cap on the number of sessions. It applies when you attended the full session you registered for, your exam attempt was within 60 days of that session, and the exam is the IC-38 (POSP/agent) exam conducted by III. Which languages, and is everything translated or only the buttons?
Thirteen: English, Hindi, Telugu, Marathi, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Tamil, Malayalam, Punjabi, Urdu, Odia and Assamese — and it is the whole course, not the interface. All 1,050 questions, 136 video lessons, 8 chapters of notes and the 165-term glossary exist in each one. Switch with the globe in the top bar; your progress, scores and bookmarks follow you.
Does it work on a low-end phone, and does it need internet?
Yes. It runs in any mobile browser and can be added to your home screen, where it works like an app — built for budget phones and small screens. Your answers and progress are saved on the device, so a dropped connection or a closed app does not lose your work. Videos need a connection; questions, notes and the glossary you have opened before do not.
Can I get a refund?
Cancel up to 24 hours before your session for a full ₹499 refund. If we cancel or reschedule and the new date does not suit you, you get a full refund. After you have attended a session, fees are non-refundable — the free-till-you-pass guarantee applies instead. Refunds reach the original payment method in 5–7 working days.
